It gives me hope that there are a few places out there for one-bed homes in different locations. And here is another in Rofe St (Sold $713k)

So following the above floor plan this is what I would do. It is a relatively private courtyard at the front, so I would only add some pot plants. For the living/dining room below I would change from this

to this, firstly in the living area by adding mirrors to the side of the fireplace, with a few bookshelves
