Home - Small Spaces/City

Going back on the last few years that I have been away from Blogging, there have been images that I have saved or pinned for various reasons, the below apartment was one of them.

When I look at it again a year or so after, I still like it for the cleaver use of the amount of space 79 squared meters (85 squared foot) and the flow from one room to the other. Re configuring this apartment was well worth it. I love how every room has a balcony.

When you say Parisian apartment, immediately for me I get a certain look and feel in my mind.

Dwell published this article about old world Parisian apartments that meet new world style? What do you picture then? This perhaps? Do you think this look and feel still works for you? It works for me. More pictures are here.

I did find this apartment in London that could be renovated achieve this feel.

The addition of custom steel-and-glass windows significantly opened up the apartment, adding visibility and light between spaces in this family-centric environment. Muted blues and grays in pastel tones keep the space feeling soft, cool, and relaxed, while the Conran Pembury sofa, La Redoute tables, and Petite Friture pendants add a distinctly contemporary air. Does anyone read catalogues anymore?

They are all online now, which makes it easy to access and no need store around the home and accumulate as clutter. Also, no need to carry with you as you can read on your mobile, perhaps during your lunch break?

Apartment Therapy have suggested a few to peruse again and get those creative juices flowing.
