I love this home - HMS Owl. I watched the renovation process on the show - Restoration Man - George Clark. They transformed a derelict World War II airfield tower in the Scottish Highlands. Wow, what a project.

I would love to stay here, and I can. It is a newly renovated castle in Scotland. With 46 guest rooms in the town of Braemar, Aberdeenshire, in the famous Highlands, an area first made popular when Queen Victoria visited the area and purchased Balmoral Castle.

For any that find the above hotel would be too vintage for them, there is the following option - a converted garage, that is a one-bed vacation rental in Edinburgh.
